Q: Is this legal?

Absolutely! Nobody is breaking any laws, doing any fraud or stealing credit card numbers or anything crazy like that. It's just modern advertising: when you complete an offer the advertiser pays whoever referred you to that offer. In our case, that's the freebie website. They collect the money and simply buy your free iPhone 3GS using the advertiser's money.

Q: Do I need to spend any money completing offers?

No. There are free offers available (like the movie rentals) so if you do those it won't cost you any money.

Q: Are the iPhones unlocked?

No, not normally. It's easy enough to unlock them so they'll work with your SIM card though. There's probably a shop near you that will do it for you, or you can search online and do it yourself.

Q: How long will the process take?

That depends on a few factors really - the value of the gift you're trying to get and how fast you can get referrals. Once you've completed all the referrals it usually takes a week before your iPhone is shipped.

Q: Will I get spammed?

No. Any offers you complete have to give you the option (by law!) of opting out of any marketing communications. Nobody will sell, rent or share your personal details without your express permission.

Q: Can I get other stuff too?
